Lunchtime Supervisor

Scale 1- £12.26 per hour

Term time only

Monday to Friday, 1 hour per day, Permanent contract

Start date: Monday 14th October 2024

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lunchtime Supervisor at Cranham Primary School, part of The Rivers C of E Academy family of schools.

What are we looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is looking for an exciting new opportunity to work with us to support our pupils at lunchtime.

You will:

  • Be punctual, reliable and have a flexible working approach.
  • Be able to work independently and use your own initiative, as well as part of a team.
  • Have good interpersonal skills.
  • Be positive and hard working.
  • Have previous experience of working with children.
  • Have high standards of cleanliness and a willingness to assist keeping our hall area clean and tidy.
  • Have a good understanding of safeguarding issues.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with children in our lunch hall to support them while they eat their lunch
  • Encouraging play activities at lunchtime
  • Motivating and encouraging pupils to behave well in and around school.
  • Administering first aid when required, if trained.
  • Ensuring the highest levels of safety, care and attention are maintained at all times.
