Parental partnership and engagement is very important within the EYFS at Cranham Primary School. Children learn best when they can see that school and home are working together. Parental engagement is encouraged within the EYFS through providing a range of opportunities for the children and their parents to engage in activities linked to our over arching themes. We invite parents in each half term to join their children in a range of activities and to celebrate the children’s achievements. At Cranham Primary School, the staff are present to talk to at the beginning and end of the school day. We provide half termly newsletters to inform parents about the learning journeys, knowledge, understanding and skills that the children will be covering each half term.   In addition, parents are kept informed of their child's progress at termly parent consultations provided with an end of year report.
