My name is Alison Davies and I am the subject leader for Geography at Cranham Primary School.  After spending time travelling during my youth, my love of the world began.  I firmly believe that teaching children about the world we live in provides them with the knowledge and understanding they need to be confident to go and explore it,  as well as appreciate the need to look after it.  It’s vital that our children are curious about the world we live in and its people - they need to be confident to ask questions about their environment and have an understanding of how sustainable living will help to shape their future. 

Our environment on a local, national and global level is ever-changing and children should know how and why this is happening, considering the impact.
