Friday 16th November
On Monday, each class burnt one of their Viking ships. We also had to make sure that every took the necessary safety precautions.
On Tuesday, Miss Jenkins taught us Gymnastics for our P.E. In pairs, we made sequences. making sure that we all has a start position, a transition, a balance, a second transition and a final position.
In maths, we have been focusing on reading and interpreting time tables. We looked at a wide range of examples and discussed lots of problems in a real world context.
On Friday we all wore odd socks, a funny hat and/or funny glasses. The entire class gave an amazing effort and there were some very creative hats on show! Year 5 had to take part in a sponsored catch, so each class had a competition to see who could make the most passes in a minute without dropping it. Then, the whole year stood in a circle and had to keep passing a ball around. To make this even harder, Miss Jenkins kept adding more balls to the circle and instructed us to change direction at different points.
