Our topic this half term is 'Tragedy under Moonlight'.
We will be focusing on the poem,
'The Highwayman' By Alfred Noyes.
We are studying this poem verse by verse. We have struggled a bit with the language but we have annotated it so we understand it.
We are still trying to discover who the two dead bodies belong to!
Last week, we wrote a letter to King George's soldiers asking him to catch the horrible Highwayman.
This week, we are publishing a newspaper report about poor Bess being tied up by King George's soldiers.
